Any contract formed between ourselves shall be governed by English Law and any disputes that arise will be resolved exclusively in the Courts of England.

We work hard to ensure that our website is accurate in terms of prices, product descriptions, stock and services. Any errors displayed are wholly unintentional and we reserve the right to amend any information affected by this. This website will be changed regularly at any time without notice or warning. We take no responsibility for colours of products not matching the colour displayed on your screen as this is dependent on colour reproduction and screen capabilities. Please note that products are not displayed true to size, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on a product.
Prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling and inclusive of VAT. Prices are liable to change at any time without prior warning. Where sale prices are used, the full RRP will have been in store for at least 28 consecutive days.
Please note that wedding ring prices are subject to change. This is due to the fluctuating price of metals and the prices displayed on our website in this category should be used as a guide only. To receive an accurate price for a specific wedding ring, please pop in store and our team will be delighted to help.
We work hard to ensure our website is always up to date but due to occasional human error, prices might be incorrectly stated. If this occurs on an item you have ordered, we reserve the right in our sole discretion to cancel your order. We will contact you with the new price and assist with re-ordering the item if you so wish.
All prices quoted are VAT inclusive.

BUYING ONLINE & PACKAGING
We are delighted to offer the option to purchase a selection of our products online including diamonds. You can choose between having your order delivered directly to your door or click and collect from our Plymouth store. If you see an item that you wish to purchase online but are not able to currently do so, please contact us on email@example.com where one of our team can assist you.
We understand buying jewellery online is an important purchase, particularly when looking at diamonds, so we want you to be rest assured that if you choose to purchase your item online, it will be handpicked and beautifully packaged with our upmost care and attention.
Occasionally, items may appear advertised as ‘in stock’ on our website but, due to the location difference between our store and our website, they may actually be ‘out of stock’. In the unlikely event of an item ordered being out of stock, we will cancel your order, issuing a full refund and email you separately.
Your purchase will be sent in discreet and secure packaging with no mention of Drakes to ensure surprises aren’t compromised in any way.
All items will be sent by recorded/special delivery through Royal Mail and will require a signature.
For orders under £50, the option will be given for you to select Signed For Only delivery at a lower rate of £3.99. If you choose this delivery option, please be aware that we will not be held liable for loss of your parcel in transit to you. We would recommend choosing our recorded/special delivery option to guarantee your parcel.
We will always strive to ensure your items arrive with you on time, however, there may be unavoidable delays through the postal service which are beyond our control. We will always do our best to notify you of any potential delay.
Please note that for your own security, items can only be delivered to the credit/debit cards billing address provided and every item must be signed for on delivery. For this reason we are unable to accept any additional delivery requests.
Please note, that due to the current circumstances, our delivery times will be slightly longer than usual. Please allow 3-7 full working days for your order to arrive with you.
Orders will only be dispatched on a Monday by your chosen delivery method. Please be aware that orders will be dispatched 2 full working days after your order date which means that we will be sending your order on the first Monday after these 2 full working days.

CLICK AND COLLECT
All the items available to purchase online are available for click and collect from our Plymouth store. Shop an array of beautiful products from the comfort of your own home and click and collect at your own convenience for free.
Purchase the item(s) through our website and your item will be in the store and ready to collect within 3 working days after your order. Please note that you must pay in full for the item(s) ordered at time of ordering.
We’ll drop you an email when your item is ready to collect but please remember that you need to bring the following items with you to collect your purchase:
Photo ID. Either a passport or driving licence
The credit/debit card you used to purchase your item
A printed copy of your email receipt
Please do not come to store to collect your item(s) before you have receive an email from us confirming your item(s) are ready for collection.
For your security and ours, items purchased through click and collect can only be collected by the card holder. There are no exceptions to this rule. You will be asked to sign for the item on collection from the store. The store has the right to refuse collection of any item if any of the above requirements are not met, or for any other legitimate reason. This is to ensure the security of your purchase and that you receive it safely.
We will always strive to have your item in store and ready for collection within 3 working days of ordering. On occasions, for reasons beyond our control, this may not always be possible. In these exceptional circumstances we will communicate an updated collection date as soon as possible.
You will have 14 days from the time of order, to collect your item from store. Failure to do so without any contact from yourself, will result in your order being cancelled and a refund being issued.
We reserve the right within our sole discretion to refuse or withdraw our click and collect service or refuse click and collect orders at any time.

We have every confidence that you will love your purchased item but if it is not quite right, you can return your item to us for a full refund.
You will have 28 days from the date that your item was dispatched to you, to return it to us. Please note that this time period is reduced to 14 days for items purchased at a discounted price.
All items purchased online and posted to your delivery address must be returned via post. Please note that, the return postage and packaging charges are non-refundable.
Due to the value of the items, we would strongly recommend that any orders or items returned to us are sent through recorded delivery postage with proof of postage required. We cannot be held responsible for any returns lost in the postal service.
Returned items must arrive back to us in pristine condition and in their original packaging, complete with any labelling, warranties, accessories or other documentation. The returned item(s) must also be unworn and undamaged. You must also include the original invoice/packing note inside the package, having clearly (marked in the returns section) your reason for sending the item back to us. Refunds can only be issued to the same payment card used for the original purchase payment. There are no exceptions to this rule. All refunds are handled by our head office so please allow 10 working days from when your item arrives to us for the refund to appear in your bank. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer immediate returns in store.
We reserve the right to decline an exchange or refund for any item(s) returned in a different condition to the condition when sold to you.
We can accept the return of online purchased goods in store, but please note that the store is unable to issue the refund as this must be processed at our head office.
Due to hygiene considerations and UK Health and Safety Laws, pierced earrings are not eligible for exchange or refund.
Any pre-owned items purchased through click and collect may only be exchanged/refunded at the point of collection. We would strongly recommend that you check that you are happy with your item before taking it from store, as once the item leaves the store, it becomes non-returnable, non-refundable & non-exchangeable.
If you would like to cancel your order, please notify us ASAP. We will try our utmost to cancel your order where possible before despatch. However if your order has already been despatched or has already arrived with you, you will need to follow our simple returns policy. Click here for further instructions.
Drakes reserves the right and in its sole discretion to cancel any order without notice.
We may resize certain rings for you to ensure the perfect fit. Please be aware however that some rings are unable to be re-sized due to their style. Please contact us for advice on whether the item of interest is able to be re-sized.
If you are ordering a diamond ring from us and would like it to be re-sized before despatch, please notify us at the point of order. Please note that, once a ring is re-sized, we are unable to offer a refund/exchange. Re-sizing may also increase the delivery time to you. We cannot be held responsible for incorrect re-sizings if the item has been supplied in the size requested.
If a purchased item requires resizing, our Drakes Jewellery Hospital will be delighted to assist with this at a nominal charge. Postage charges to and from the Drakes Jewellery Hospital will be your responsibility.
VIEWING YOUR ITEM IN STORE
It is possible for you to view an item in store before purchase. Please get in touch with us via firstname.lastname@example.org. We will confirm when the item is ready to view.
We offer a beautiful complimentary gift wrapping service on all orders. If this is something that you would like, please email email@example.com with your order number and ‘gift wrap’ clearly marked. This needs to be requested as soon as you have placed the order.
At Drakes we want to ensure that your purchase is safe and secure. We do all we can to prevent fraudulent transactions and keep your details safe. Our website offers 3D secure which ensures that all transactions are checked rigorously and as standard. To help keep your details secure, we will only hold the last 4 digits of your card number for identification purposes. If a transaction does not pass any of these checks, we reserve the right in our sole discretion to cancel the order and refuse the order.
The email address you supply to set up your account will not be shared with any third parties.
By creating your own Drakes Wish List you agree to your Wish List being shared with relatives or friends in our Drakes store. For the in store staff to access your Wish List the relative or friend will need to confirm your email address and full name. This enables our team to ensure your relatives and friends can find the perfect gift you have always dreamt of. Your details will never be shared and the Wish List will be used as a guide to our team only.
